We currently have a full-time opportunity for an Specialist Labour Data and Insights. This role can be based out of one our main offices including: Stellarton, NS; Mississauga, ON; Calgary, AB.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

 

As a Specialist Labour Data and Insights with Sobeys, you will:

 

  • Collect required data and assess labour impacts of various initiatives internal and external to the team.
  • Build and maintain store characteristics templates for all departments including source of data, frequency of update and collection method.
  • Extract data, assemble insights reports and collaborate with Labour Managers to deliver the insights to the leadership.
  • Implement a continuous improvement approach with regards to labour data, reporting and insights.
  • Finance: Collaborate on the budgeting process and set labour budget by store.

Your experience and resume will show us:

 

  • Strength in problem solving and communication (verbal and written).
  • Experience in Retail would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of/experience with payroll and/or Workforce Management systems.
  • Knowledge of SP4R (Standards Pro For Retail) would be an asset.
  • Ability to work both within a team and individually.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Strong Excel skills with experience in data analysis.
  • Experience with data management and or data analysis tools such as SAS Expertise Guide would be an asset.
  • Bilingual (an asset).
  • The candidate will be expected to work with peers in other provinces in the development and implementation of tools and processes across Canada, as well as provide support to Sobeys employees across Canada.
